Descon continuously wins projects in Q1 and Q2/2017

In the first two quarters of 2017, Descon has continuously wins 7 big projects in Residence, Resort, Industrial & Manufacturing, and Office Building. Total value of the projects is counted up to 800 billion VND, this is considered as a good signal for Descon’s BOD and also for the Shareholders, Investors, Partners after a drastically reorganize stage in last year 2016.
Specifically, in the Q1/2017, Descon was chosen by Vilomix Vietnam Llc., - The investor to be the main contractor, in charge of designing and constructing DANSK Vilomix Vietnam Project which has 27.000 m2 scale. When finish, the estimated production capacity of the plant will increase to 3 million tons of feedstuffs for cattle per year. The total investment in this project is approximately 66 billion VND. Also in the same first quarter, Descon was consecutive contracted Car Tires Manufacturing Plant Capacity 900.000 tires/ year Project, invested by Hung Hai Thinh JSC with roughly 96 billion VND investment.
Until now, in Q2, Descon has win 3 more projects, raise total income to proximately 800 billion VND. In which, the most impressive project is Opal Garden - Apartment & Condo Building, fully trusted by Dat Xanh Real Estate Service & Construction Corporation to be the main contractor. The Opal Garden’s area is nearly 54.000 m2, located in Pham Van Dong Street – The most beautiful urban route in HCMC, the total investment is 172 billion VND. Moreover, the investor Dat Xanh Real Estate Service & Construction Corporation also chose Descon to be main contractor for High-rise Apartments Gem Riverside Project in District 2, HCMC. The project includes 3000 apartments (with 35 floors, 6 blocks), has total investment of 5.500 billion VND, is attracting investors’ attention due to its unique design and favorable geographic location.
After successfully completed the Ministry of Public Security Condominium in District 2 in the last 2016, Descon was again won the Ministry of Public Security Condominium in District 9. The 102 billion VND project is invested by Bach Dang Co. Lt. (Ministry of Public Security) which has total area of 15.887 m2.
Locating in No.2 Bis Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, District 1 is Office Building combine with Commercial Services – Apartment for rent Project which is invested by Minh Thanh Production – Trading – Service – Co., Ltd with total investment amount of 85 billion VND. Descon will be in charge of being main contractor, construct this 17 floors and 2 basements building, the estimate time of completion is in 8/2018.
Is one of the few 5 stars Resort with 100% sea view, The Hamptons – Ho Tram has 16,8 ha area, stretching 518m along the coast. The Resort consist of 14-storey condomonium and villa area with 19 beach front villas and 80 sea view villas with facilities and landscaping, total investment of this project is up to 220 billion VND. Highly appreciated in construction abilities, Descon was chosen by Emerald Beach Ho Tram Company Lt. to be the main contractor for this Resort Project.
Thus, after the reorganizing stage, streamlining personnel and strengthening company operation, Descon has have the very first signal for the development back. Continuously winning 7 projects in the first two quarter of this year is a testament to Descon’s persistence in overcoming difficulties as well as the trustworthy from the Shareholders, Investors and Suppliers in the past time. With the speed of growth back in this 2 quarters, the 1,500 billion VND income target in 2017 will not be out of reach, and we believe that Descon will become the construction corporation not only has extensive experience in construction but also has the experience of steadfastly overcome difficulties, not afraid to accept change for a bigger step forward.
